Andorra is a landlocked country in Southwestern Europe that borders France and Spain. Located in the Pyrenees Mountains, Andorra has a strategic location that straddles a number of important crossroads in the mountains. The government system is a co-principality with the president of France and the bishop of Urgell (Spain) as co-princes. The president of France, in his capacity of prince of Andorra, is the chief of state, and the head of government is the prime minister of Andorra. Andorra has a mixed economic system in which the economy includes a variety of private freedom, combined with centralized economic planning and government regulation.
